Who We Are

Confined Spaces

Emergency rescue in spaces with limited means of entry and/or exit

Confined spaces usually have limited means of entry and/or exit, are large enough to bodily enter, and may contain various physical or atmospheric hazards.

In these situations, emergency rescue should only be attempted by individuals who are trained in safe entry and rescue procedures.

Rescue Squad members are adequately trained and have the tools and personal protective equipment (such as self-contained breathing apparatuses) for entry into atmospheres that are immediately dangerous to life and health.
