SUMMARY:Battle of the Badges Kickball Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Kickball Tournament open to all Charleston County police\, fire\, rescue\, and EMS personnel. \nThe Charleston County Volunteer Rescue Squad is hosting their first kickball tournament fundraiser “Battle of the Badges” on October 2\, 2022. All Charleston County police\, fire\, rescue\, and EMS personnel will be invited to play in this tournament. This will be an opportunity for first responders to de-stress and have a friendly competition with their fellow responders. \n\n3 Game guarantee (45min/game)\nOpen to first 12 teams to register\n$150/ team entry fee\n10-15 players per team\n\nEmail kickball@charlestonrescue.com to register or for more information. \nRegistration deadline: September 1\, 2022

SUMMARY:3rd Annual Oyster Roast + Fish Fry
DESCRIPTION:Please join us on October 9th\, 2021 from 3pm to 7pm at James Island County Park – Wappoo Shelter for a fun and family-friendly event! We will have Oysters\, Fish\, and all the Fixins’\, provided by the Lowcountry’s own favorite chef\, Jamie Westendorff. \nBeer\, wine\, water\, tea and soda will be available. There will be activities for all ages including: Cornhole\, Jump Castle\, and Balloon Animal Making! \nThe Service Master Ice Cream Truck will be handing out free frozen treats from 4pm to 6pm! We will also have a Silent Auction with fabulous items from local vendors as well as movie memorabilia! A few of the Charleston Rescue Squad’s Rescue Vehicles will be on display for “tours”. \nCome and have fun with us while also supporting the Squad to buy a much needed Rescue Utility Vehicle.
